ok... Post #2!

Hello world... or in this case one or two people (I don't really expect people to come to this site often, and that's ok! I've been trying to decide how to really get going on this site, and what to start sharing. There are so many stories, so many memories, its hard to decide where to begin. So I will begin with this post. And really this post is more about WHY I am doing this and what to expect.

This blog (as I've mentioned) is to honor my beautiful and amazing (late) wife Katie. Most of my distant friends do not know her, and many of her distant friends did not get to see her often, so I will share our story and our journey here. While it may have been relatively brief, it was magical.

This blog is also therapeutic for me. I need an outlet to talk about her. So some of my posts may also be a little bit about me, and how I am processing and dealing with the grief of losing the love of my life and my best friend. It has not been easy. And that is me putting it nicely.

So this post, post number two (I promise not to number them) gets the "why" out of the way, so I can now just get into the real posts. The posts that may actually be interesting to some people. If all goes well, this will be the most boring post on the site. Fingers crossed!!
