...and just like that its Father's Day (also a subtle Sex and the City reference). My how fast time can fly. My last post was back in May, on the anniversary of her passing. Its been one month and 15 days since my last post. I knew May would be hard, for so many reasons. And hard it was. But I got thru it, and was able to spend time with family and friends, especially those closest to Katie.

So today is Fathers Day. Which means its the Sunday of the US Open golf tournament. I really enjoy watching golf, and today is a day I usually can do it guilt free. And for a guy who likes to cook, I purposely don't like to cook on Fathers Day. Honestly, I just want to be lazy!

So today my son and I went out to a nice sushi lunch. We had a really nice time. We went to the same place I spent my last Father's Day with Katie, so that was nice as well. Below is a picture from our last Father's Day together. This was from 2024. We had a nice teppanyaki lunch. Both of my kids were with us which made it nice. We always had fun together, the four of us, and having all four of us together didn't happen often, so it was really nice.
